Off-chain & on-chain gas payments

In Hyper Chain the cost of every transaction has two components:

• The off-chain costs paid by Sequencers & Aggregators includes state storage and SNARK generation, which depends on the usage of hardware resources and is fixed. The storage and prover cost is estimated to be around 0.001 USD per transfer.

• The on-chain costs paid by users includes Ethereum gas paid by validators in ETH/HC to verify the SNARK for every Hyper Chain block, along with an additional amount for each transaction to publish the change of state. This cost is variable and depends on the current gas price in the Ethereum network, but is significantly lower than the cost of normal ETH/ERC20 transfers.

The fee structure in Hyper Chain is designed to provide a low-cost and scalable alternative to Ethereum's high gas fees.
